Charles Shawver, Chairman of the Board (307-760-7487)

            Mr. Shawver is a long time resident of Laramie, Wyoming and most recently, the majority shareholder, President/CEO of Rocky Mountain Wood Products, Inc., a manufacturer of virtually any type milled wood product.  Rocky Mountain Wood Products was sold in 2005 and Mr. Shawver, ostensibly, retired to manage his personal investments and to pursue other entrepreneurial interest.  CWI is indeed fortunate to have someone with Mr. Shawver’s wood industry background and experience on its Board of Directors.

John Pope, Ph.D. (307-742-6707)

            Dr. Pope is the founder and CEO of The Blue Sky Group Inc., CWI's parent company.  He has been the driving force behind eight startup companies, including being the co-founder and organizing president of CWI in 1999, as well as of WellDog Inc, Nanomaterials Discovery Inc., and Blue Sky Batteries Inc.  Dr. Pope is active on several community service boards, including Venture West, a group dedicated to assisting in the development of entrepreneurial ventures in Wyoming, as well as the Laramie Economic Development Corporation, the Wyoming Business Alliance, and the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission .  Originally from Missouri, Dr. Pope received his doctorate in chemistry from the University of Wyoming

James Arkebauer (303-758-8710)

            Mr. Arkebauer founded the investment banking and management consulting firm, Venture Associates in 1982.  He has authored eight business books and is a frequent speaker on entrepreneurship and successful early-stage funding.  Mr. Arkebauer is further distinguished as one of the Founders of the Rockies Venture Club, in Denver, Colorado in 1985.  He continues today  as Chairman of the Board of that organization.  Additional information is available at www.venturea.com.
